Hi, I'm Emily, I'm 31, I live in Utah with my husband and 4 year old daughter. My parents had chickens when I was a kid, but that's been a long time ago. I currently am raising my very first chickens. I have 5 New Hampshires that are about 9 weeks old. I finally got them a coop, and they are finally outside of my house! Thing is, after some research I *think* 4 out of 5 chicks are roosters. I can't be certain yet, I'm waiting to see what they are for sure, but I went ahead and got 4 black sexlinks that are a week old. I did hours of research on how to properly sex chickens, and I sexed the 4 sexlinks prior to purchase. I purchased both sets of chicks from IFA, and C-A-L Ranch.

My question is, when, and how do I introduce the younger chicks to the older ones? Any input you may have will be greatly appreciated.

Hope you checked out the links i sent you Emily - the principles contained therein remain relevant to your situation.

Good luck
