I have a female MC that has lost all of her companions (the last one yesterday). She or any of her sisters has ever been very loud. Just small quiet chatting. Since her loss she has been quacking extremely loud. I'm wanting to get her some new friends but don't know how she will take to new ducklings. I cant find any MC's local. Any certain breed I should stay away from? I'd appreciate any advice.
 
It's hard to say 100% how she will take to a new duckling, however generally speaking Muscovy ducks are great mothers so I would be willing to bet she would take the duckling in and be accepting.

As far as the breed is concerned I would suggest Muscovy unless you don't care if you get a male from another breed and down the road they cross breed. Hope my two cents helps, good luck!
