I guess you could say I'm in the "research phase" of chicken keeping :). I'm trying to decide on a coop and from there getting in touch with local hatcheries to start our flock. Can't wait!!
 
Welcome to Backyard chickens. If you put your state in the search box, it will come up. Then you can post there - you may find you have other Bycers in the area who can tell you which breeds do best and type of coop , etc.
