Too Drafty?

I am converting an old child's playhouse to chicken coop. The back wall of the coop will be a wooden fence. It has gaps between the boards, about 1/2". Will that be too drafty for the chickens. The other walls will small gaps between the boards and the floor will be covered in sand and not provide draft.
 
Not sure where you are located but the only time it may be an issue would be if you have cold harsh winters. In that case I would put a tarp or plastic sheet up over it for the winter. Otherwise I don't see any issues with it.
