I am highly suspecting infectious bronchitis now as I got a slightly deformed egg today, luckily it is a max 5% mortality disease from what I have read and my birds were very mildly affected with no real signs of illness let alone deaths.

And I am so glad they won't be carriers for life! I will defiantly hold off on selling any of the chicks for 5 months and will fully inform any potential buyers that take a chicken from me before next spring that my birds may be carriers and let them decide if they want to risk the symptoms I saw.

Oh and I am also done with chicks for the year, my silkie breeding spree is over with no plans until next spring when my frizzle chicks are ready to breed :)
