This chick has feathered the fastest and i know polish can be incredibly hard to sex but anyone have any guesses? This is my first polish.

Crest says to me male but no redness of the wattle area tells me female. I'm afraid I'm 50/50 and sat on the fence right now!!

What distinct things should I look for?
Depends on the bird in question. I've had crowers at 4 weeks before with no wattles showing. But then I have had big wattles and no early crowing. Just the usual things to look out for, wattles, tail set, saddle feathers, attitude and of course crowing!!

The crest did make me think cockerel but I'm praying for a pullet
I've had pullets with crests like that so its not a 100% way of telling, just guess work.

I dont see any wattles but the stance also is making me think cockerel. They are outside now in a pen and the polush is walking tall holding the tail up high
