Soon to be Mandarin Owner - Kentucky

Thread Starter

Hello, We are in the process of purchasing our first set of Ducks. We are hoping to breed Mandarins and eventually sell them.

I was wondering if any type of special permit is required to purchase and sell Mandarins in KY or to even have them in the state. We have had a very hard time finding Mandarins and are actually travelling to OH to get our first Mandarin.

We have almost finished our 12 x 16 foot coop complete with foliage, hollow logs and a small pond. Any tips or information would be greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

Jackie & Mike

Hi Jackie and Mike and welcome to BYC - glad to have you join us.

I would imagine that the best place to discover more is the "duck" thread, and possibly your state thread (just type the name of your state in the search box).

all the best

I set fire to the rain! Watch it pour as I, touched your face. Well it burn while I cried, because I heard it screaming out your name. And I threw us into flames. I knew that was the last time, the last time...I set fire to the rain! -Adele
