How many roosters can be in a flock?

Aside from keeping them penned up any ideas? We live out in the country, we have a good relationship with our neighbor, unless the roosters have an issue with each other we don't really have any problem with his chickens coming on our property or vice versa.
 
Did you end up keeping both Roos? I too love my flock and now am faced with the decision to keep 2. I have 18 hens and my main Roo is about 4. The new Roo is 6 months. So far there has been no drama. I am hopeful. I have rehomed several Roos, but this one seems special and I'm getting attached. I appreciate any advice.
