I am adding to my wood coop/run using a dog run. I live in a wild area and am planning on hardware cloth for the bottom. My question is if i can do the bottom 3' of the run in hardware cloth and then the top. Any insight in the best attachment method for the wire to the dog run.
I am planning on having two separate runs for a bit since I am adding younger chickens to my existing four. This means I'll need a second coop. I was thinking of building a new and bigger one for the new run and when I merge the flocks, remove the old one and put the new one in its place. Would that work?
