New from Kentucky - Looking for Mandarin Information

Hi,

We are heading to OH this weekend to pick our first Mandarin Duck and are so excited. I was looking around for information making sure it is ok to bring this species into the state of KY but am having trouble locating anything specific.

We are hoping to eventually breed and sell Mandarins.

Does anyone know if you have to have any type of permit or license to keep Mandarins in Kentucky?

We have a 12 x 16ft coop complete with logs, pond and foliage. So excited to get started.

Also, we are starting with one male mandarin because he is the only mandarin we have found available anywhere. Will he be ok on his own for a while or should we get another breed to keep him company?
