I don't have a compost so am wondering if I can put the chicken poop straight into the garden?? I don't want to just have a bucket of poop piling up lol
Any info is appreciated.

I use 2 liter pop bottles (the cover off) stuck into the ground with the bottom cut out near my tomato plants. I then put about ten cups of fresh chicken manure in a nylon mesh feed bag tie it off and throw it into a 45 gal drum in my case. I fill the barrel with water which makes a sort of tea. I water my tomatoes by filling the 2 liter bottles I also water my plants with this tea I find you are less likely to burn out your plants when employing this method. It still is dangerous if you put the pure poop on the plant or if you make the tea too strong. You want the water to be a light brown in colour not black. Practice and observation are really your only teacher using this method along with common sense.

Nest boxes
In my nest boxes I fold a feed bag to fit (nest boxes are 1 ft³). When a bag gets soiled; fold a new one; pop out the soiled; pop in the new. Feed bags are a nylon mesh bag.
Frozen poop just peels off in below freezing temperatures and just flakes off in summer when left out in the sun to bake and dry.

I have 65 trips around the sun it is the best method I have stumbled upon.

Make sure the twine is removed from the open end of the bag it can get tangled around your birds.




I personally raise hens as a hobby; and for their manure to enrich my vegetable garden any thing else the hens provide is merely a bonus.

Here is one BONUS NOW not many people can enjoy seeing in their back yard on a regular basis.
