I'm brittany, we live in NM. I just started my very own backyard flock, and I already love my chicken babies!

Hi Brittany and welcome to BYC - glad that you have joined us.

You'll find lots of info in the Learning Centre (even if you have lots of experience)
https://www.backyardchickens.com/atype/1/Learning_Center, and if you have a specific topic in mind, just type it in the search box - there's a wealth of information on past and present threads.

These links may help you for the moment.

thank you so much! I'm fairly new to chickens, but I have raised turkeys. My mother in law has given us LOTS of advice too!

You are welcome and its good that you have a head start that I most certainly did not! :)

I am very lucky. We were going to buy a ridiculously expensive coop before she suggested converting our unused dog house since its roomier, already insulated, and there. She's also the one that suggested bantam babies, and this website!
