A bump on the back of my chickens head please HELP!!!!

I am 12 years old and one of my hens has got a bump or something on the back of her head she is acting normal but we touch the bump she freaks out.One of my friends who also have chickens is saying it could possible be a ingrown feather if you know anything or can point me in a direction please do. :)

As long as she is acting normally, I think it will heal up on its own.

Hard to say....just keep an eye on it.

Great article on VENTILATION, one of THE MOST IMPORTANT aspects of coop design.

Fantastic treatise to help decide how much SPACE your chickens need.

 

Chicken math is not just 'addition'...but also should include Division, Multiplication and especially Subtraction!!!

we cut it open and it was an ingrown feather I am so happy thats what is was and now she much happier
