I got this little guy or girl at tractor supply with five other sexed hens. Now about 3 weeks have gone by and this one is twice the size as the others and has a darker orange beak. Also noticed pronounced wattles today. New to chickens so I don't know if hens have those too.I do know none of my other hens have them yet. Any suggestions much appreciated. :) ps app won't let me post pics...

You really need to post a picture. In addition to possibly being a rooster it could be a different breed or even an older chick. Sometimes when the new chicks come in TSC may put them in with a few left overs of the same breed.

sorry for some reason I can't post a pic. I tried. It looks the same as the other 2 we have. They were all the same size when we got them. This one just grew really quickly but its feathers aren't coming in as quickly. I'll try to post pics again..

I would assume it is a rooster. Are you trying to post photos from a cell phone? I think there are different manuvers to post them.

Are the other developing tails? It stands out, I would guess roo but ??? You know when they crow.
they are still a bit young. Only just now starting to get tail feathers. Not more then a few though. I'm definitely not seeing any for sure sign but I'm not very experienced at spotting these sorts of things. What got me was just the size difference and the darkness of the beak and now the wattles.. guess only time will tell. :)
