So I got 3 chicks from tractor supply that were advertised as amber links. I already have one amber link named marshmallow and the new chicks look nothing like her

The gold bird looks to be a Gold Star, aka Gold Sexlink.
All the hybrid sexlinks are very good layers, at least the first several years. They tend to slow down significantly by the 3rd or 4th year having been highly productive the first two.
