Quail questions

Well I was thinking about it and the birds might be happier in the wild at what age are they mature? I know a few good places to take them with lots of gambel quail and minimal predators, lots of food. Anyways it sounds like you need to keep them separate in pairs so maybe I could keep one pair? I don't have a solid plan yet but I could use your opinions.

You keep them in groups of 1 male to 2,3 or 4 females. They mature at about six weeks, i don't know if you could release them into the wild, I guess if they get minimal human contact they may be okay in the wild, but I don't know.
