Should I be worried about my Barred rock hen? She is about 3 years old. I have noticed that even in cool weather (or warm) when all the girls are congregating and sitting around together in the afternoons, she has a distinctive rock from head to tail. It almost looks like just her hind end is rocking up and down. This is a much more pronounced movement for her than the other girls. They were wormed in March. She eats well and runs around and has good color in her comb. she is laying now and her eggs have calcium bumps on them. Don't know why because they all get the same layer food and just her eggs are bumpy. It's just the rocking that bothers me. is she short of breath or something or is this normal?
