Rule of thumb is 4-5 sq.feet per bird in the coop, excluding roosts and nest boxes, and 10 sq. feet per bird in the outdoor run. Your birds will be crowded in that small coop, they grow fast.

Quick question. How long does it take for chickens to adept to new surroundings. My chickens are super freaked out, which i expected, but at what point should i be concerned?
