I have been feeding the local ducks at the college and the pekin duck keeps laying eggs but either the critters get them and I find empty shells and after she sat there for 6 weeks and don't know what happened. So, this year I have been taking the eggs (the days I miss I find empty shells) so did all the homework and made a incubator, turn them, humidifier but I have a couple that all dark green like and about 3/4 of the egg is like that and maybe a tiny bit heavier.
Of course I have read and read but I still do have questions, any help is appreciated

Those are dud eggs if their green, there aren't any babies in there to incubate. You can try taking the not green eggs and use a flash light or even you phone's flash light and candle the eggs to see if there's anything in there to hatch. if you see veins and a little red spot in the egg then there's a baby growing. Here's a pic. It should look something like this, but exact looks will depend on how long the eggs have been incubating.

Awesome picture, thank you for responding, I don't see anything like that, at what stage (days in) was this pic taken? When should I start seeing veins?

You should start seeing veins at about five days, though that pic was taken, if memory serves, around seven or eight. The viens you'll see will be much smaller at five days, it looks like a spider got in there.

Around 10 eggs, 15 at most. It sounds like she hasn't been bred so she's laying duds. That's probably why she isn't sitting on any of them.
