I bought one silkie chick along with two other chickens exactly 8 weeks ago. Since the silkies were straight run I'm trying to see if anyone can take an educated guess at her gender. She (?) was picked out through wing sexing (or at least my attempt at it) as well as choosing the smallest and meekest chick. She still is the least independent out of the three and stands kinda like a duck instead of more upright. Any guess on her sex? (I say her because I'm really hoping for a her lol)

I'd give this bird a few more weeks and post again. In the second picture, it looks like there could be streamers popping off the back of its crest (a male trait), but since it's still young, that could just be because of pin feathers. It looks to be partially bearded/non bearded, which means its comb and wattles will be a bit on the bigger side whether its a pullet or a cockerel.

Here is a comb picture (I used water to push back the crest a bit) the silkie has a lot of new pin feather around it's head. It's still probably too young to tell but I want to post some progression to see if that will shed some light on it's gender
