Chirping
My chicks start in a brooder, then work into a run within the chicken coop and yard. When they are old enough to return each night, they are allowed to free range with the rest of the flock. It usually takes a few weeks of them being free for them to actually wander with the adults. My main flock gets rotated between free ranging and spending time in the run so that neither area is overly grazed.
