Hi, my name is James Arthur, I've had friends with chickens for years, and I've wanted some for just as long(if not longer), and I've finally got a few of my own. We incubated 15 POTENTIAL LY fertilized eggs from my friends who keep chickens. Amazingly, 5 out of the 15 hatched(5 out of 10 of the ones specifically from their farm). So now I'm busy keeping the little peepers busy while I finish renovating the old rabbit coop into a chicken coop (mainly predator-proofing the dang thing!)

Nice to meet you James Arthur - Glad you joined us at the Backyard chickens flock

Hi :welcome James Arthur

Glad you could join us here! Congratulations on your chicks :celebrate Watching them hatch from the egg sure is an amazing experience. I'm so pleased to hear you are predator proofing, that's one of my top things to do. Wishing you the very best of luck with your new venture. Be sure to ask any questions, everyone here to help and very friendly.

Enjoy BYC and all the chicken chat :frow
