Beautiful sharp barring, non-aggressive and HEALTHY. I'm selling Apollo because his sire is trying to kill him and I don't want him hurt. Apollo has a broad shape and beautiful balanced comb/gorgeous head. Apollo is not aggressive, just fairly skittish from having to run for his life from older hens. He's never even offered to nip me, a good boy.
If you want to do chores without having to watch your back, THIS IS YOUR GUY!

*We DO ask if you have a predator-proof coop! Chicken wire pens with no building or 3 sided lean-to's are not safe housing. And if you already have chickens, you'll need a separate quarantine area so he can be kept apart for a time, then introduced slowly, not just thrown in with other birds. It's always best to quarantine newly purchased birds; though ours are 100% healthy, you cannot see germs so best to protect ours and yours.*
These are the type BR your great grandma had.They are 7/8 pure hard-to-find Marvin Stukel heritage line Plymouth Rock. The adult hen in the photos is Apollo's mother, a pure Marvin Stukel heritage line hen. The sire is 3/4 Stukel line. NO HATCHERY BLOOD. When we had the original pure Stukel male (killed by copperhead) with the same hen and her sisters, eggs auctioned for $170 and $150 per dozen, so the quality is rare.
We do not sell to stock flippers! If you intend to sell off the cockerel, don't answer the ad! We recently refused to sell after finding serious issues with the future environment, resulting in internet bullying and libel/slander from this individual-if you cannot assure a decent place for any chickens we sell to you, then WE WILL NOT SELL TO YOU! We don't care what religion you are, what kind of car you drive, what house you live in, what you do in your personal life, period! We don't care about ANYTHING other than our birds will be as safe and well-cared for as anyone can reasonably guarantee!
Reasons to refuse sale: Unsafe environment, uncontrolled dogs, hoarding, known rampant disease in your flocks, flipping stock are all reasons we would not sell to you! ABSOLUTELY NO FLIPPERS!

Pickup in Mineral Bluff, GA. Chickens cannot leave the property unless with new owner due to biosecurity reasons.
