Hello everyone! I'm very excited about hatching chicks. I'm a generational chicken raiser. There has never been a generation on either side of my family that has not had chickens. Sorry, I'm not bragging. But, I'm brand new at hatching! We have lavender orpingtons and auracaunas. I found Backyard Chickens by just surfing around on google. LOL
We live at about 2300 feet elevation on the Cumberland Plataeu. It is beautiful!!

Thank you all very much! A lot of industries are exclusive to newbies. I like this one because if is inclusive! Beekeeping is very inclusive as well. If we have the love of chickens in common, then there are bound to be other things in common as well.
