One of the silkie chicks has a bald spot on the back of its neck, looks like it was pecked away.... a bit of dried blood. Moved it in with my mama hen who already has one of the other silkie along with her own baby. (She's great at adopting) The bald chick has it's head sticking out from under her wing.

How should I treat this??? I don't want it to get infected or for the chick to have to deal with any more pain.

Blue Kote, hence the name, is blue so that it covers the wound. I often use it on picked on chickens so that the wounds aren't visible. I'm sure there are other alternatives, but I prefer the blue Kote:)

Don't notice any wounds to be honest!!! At this point there's no more dried blood. Her head sometimes wobbles like a bobble head though... wondering if it's from her head being peked.

Yea no one has been pecking her since I moved her in with mama Lacey.

Randomly, from her head being in a a normal upright position, her head will tilt at a sideways angle, then she'll snap her head back up and her head will tilt, then snap back up, repeat for 3 seconds maybe. Sometimes her head wobbles like a bobble head (like the ones on car dashes)
