I have noticed for the last month or so my egg production has really slowed in what I thought was supposed to be the best time of year for chickens to lay. I haven't changed anything so its been a puzzle to me why they suddenly slowed so much all at one time. Perhaps its something to do with my nest boxes. Heres a picture I took of one of my nest boxes today. Don't this box look like a good place for an egg to be laid ?
