I set my eggs early this morning. It only took 30mins for it to heat to a steady 99.5. It was steady for a while! Then it jumped to 101 around noon. I then adjusted it a teeny tiny bit down to get back to 99.5. I just checked on it and it was at 97.5! How do I get this thing stable again?

Mine has been doing the same thing due to our hot weather. The humidity is up also. Since it is not close to lock down I have been lifting the top just slightly to let the extra heat and humidity out, it stay study at night at 99.5. This is the first time i have had this trouble, so hopefully I have not hurt the eggs any by doing this.

Its a LG still air incubator. It's at least 6 years old.
It's still air, so you want it at 101-102 anyway, not 99.5, with the temps being taken at the top of the eggs. My 9200 (which is your model if I remember right) has the fan, but outside variants affect the inside temps. As long as mine stays above 99.5 and below 101, I leave it alone. With still air as long as it doesn't go over 102 or under 100.5, I would leave it alone.
