there's more blue light in LEDs and CFLs..

which is why i heard they are working on Incandescent 2.0..  energy efficient like LEDs but without the blue light..

LEDs might be a better choice for chicken owners who want to provide supplemental lighting for their chickens during the winter (if needed)..

There is a lot more to it than that... CFLs can have their color adjusted by different coatings on the bulb, LEDs can be mixed based with different colors...

But, those coatings and LED mixing come with a cost, and for general illumination it's not cost effective to try and replicate incandescent lights spectrum...

It goes well beyond just the red and blue saturation levels, as you can see bellow...

I personally never liked traditional incandescent lighting, and I know I'm not alone in that respect, especially among photographers and film makers that had to deal with the orange cast of traditional lights...

On that subject, I have some vintage sodium vapor area lights around my property that give that real nice orange glow, and I was reading an article several years ago that was reminiscing about that orange glow that was common in streets and parking lots for decades but is no mostly gone... The article went on to say that current outdoor night photographs and films will probably never recapture that nostalgic look from old films and photographs...
