Duck with broken leg (xray photos)

OMGosh ! :(

Thank you for being such a kind heart to this poor helpless lil duck.
You are a precious soul to be sure :)
Wishing you and your lil ones the best of everything and a long happy life !

Hi to everyone that commented and helped regarding my patient with a broken leg. Update: I kept him in a cage with his leg wrapped in 2 places just to give it support. Very gradually, over 2-3 weeks, he started to hop in place, stand and stretch. Then I put him on the floor of my patio and made him a larger "cage" where he now gets in his own bath (large, low plastic storage bin), walks, sleeps and eats (and poops), and in a couple more weeks I will find a spot to see if he wants to walk away. I want to make sure he is totally healed. Something I did find out for any future folks that find themselves with a duck with a broken leg. My friend who I found out has a brother who has a farm and he said that what I did was the best thing to do as ducks have some kind of fantastic self healing, whereby if you keep the duck confined to a small space, take care of them, their bones will eventually heal without taking them to a vet, spending a lot of money on x- Rays etc. it takes time and patience and caring, but they will heal.
Lots of love again to the people that helped me and replied.
Xx
