I have a 2-3 month old "hen". When my uncle first got it, the farmer said it is a female. This "hen" kept having weird behavior at my feet scratches, pecks, and lies on it.... then walks back, droops "her" wings, frizzles "her" feathers to make "her"self look big, then "her" tail turned into an oriental fan.

Do females do this too or is my "hen" a male.

Hens will do it. When showing intimidation, aggitation, or dominance.

Thank you for the reply, feedman77. Yes, that's exactly what she's doing. I don't know why she is mad at my feet or want to be more dominant than my feet. She likes to be held and petted but just hates my feet. No one ever abused her.

My young 9 week old finally started strutting and gobbling. I notice your hen has short center tail feathers. I was told males have longer center feathers. The jury was out on whether ours was a tom till recently. I was thrilled. We wanted a tom. Lol!
