thank you all for the warm welcome,

I had grown up around chickens and ducks until I moved away from home in my 20's

Now that I'm in my 50's I've come back to it, and I feel as if I've finally come home:)

I have a mixed flock of chickens consisting of Rhode Island reds silki bantam crosses and some Americana and a silver and chocolate Orpington

I also have ducks, welsh Harliquin hen some black Swedish. Drakes, a Cayuga hen, and what I thought to be rouens, but look more like saxony with there grey heads and some unusual coloured spotted Autralian, and what looks to be a silver appleyard, which some one told me was a welsh Harliquin drake but his colours not right I will post pictures as soon as I figure out how lol

Ok well I will talk to you all later have a great day.
Dee.

It has been great meeting you and I am happy you got back into chickens and other backyard poultry. As you said you have some ducks so I will leave you the link to the duck forum so you can check that out! https://www.backyardchickens.com/f/42/ducks I am a huge fan of Rhode Island Reds and I am a huge fan of the other members of your flock. Have a great day and I will see you later Dee!

Nice to meet you Dee, Welcome to Backyard chickens. The folks on the "Duck thread," would be more knowledgeable for duck specific questions.
