Our first year at raising chickens. This is our Buff Oripington. We got her from a feed store along with others for a total of 12. We have 3 roosters for sure out of the bunch and this one is looking like one also. Large comb and wattles, long narrow pointy neck feathers and the sickle feathers on the tail. She hatched out on 2/24 so she is around 4 months old. She still only has nubs for spurs, does not crow but will mount some hens on occasion. Our other roosters which are younger than her are crowing like crazy and one is growing Spurs.
So, do I have the identification markings correct in assuming she is a he?
