Baby doves

Can anyone help me and give me info on how to raise baby doves?
You would be wise to change your search for young squeakers in my opinion. You would have better luck. You would have many obstacles to over come to be successful with eggs. The young need pigeon milk to thrive and without it squabs have a hard time surviving. Good luck in your quest.

Pigeons are born naked and blind not like quails or chickens. Are hummingbird size or if anything smaller and are hard to hand raise even for experienced fanciers.

So what are you trying to say? Sorry...
They have alittle feathers and alittle fuzz. About 1 1/2 in - 2 inches. Do not want to eat anything.... But they drink alittle water.. And under there neck is fat?

The mother died... And now im left with 2 babies

There have been a lot of questions about hatching pigeons like you would chickens in an incubator lately. I think she thought that was what you were asking.

I found this page good for showing the syringe feeding method http://www.urbanwildlifesociety.org/WLR/BabyPij&DuvFeedg.htm

And this one has everything else you need to know. http://www.pigeonrescue.co.uk/caringforababypigeon.htm

Under the neck is the crop, not fat

Is the father about still? He will also feed them.

Good luck! Keep us posted!

Quote: I have had luck feeding young squabs with raw chicken eggs warmed up to body temperature. For the first week. Then a warm mixture of chicken pellets dissolved into a fine paste. Then once the feathers start to appear 2+- week whole seeds or pellets.
