Is this a male? It has a little flip on its tail, kinda and I'm just confused because the feed store said it was a girl and the one they said was a boy was a girl.

I don't know what age I just got them... It does have a little curl on its tail though just not completely around

Pick him/her up that should give you a good idea what sex. But looks like that curl maybe starting.. What a beautiful Runner to have gotten from a feed store.

Wow, that is a beautiful runner. My guess is a drake (male) and the tail we see off to the side looks like a duck (female). Most feed sorted do not carry Runners. You were lucky.

If you can't hear the sound it makes, try separating it from the rest. It should start call for them and you will be able to tell right away if it's quacking. I have one runner who is so quiet, he hardly ever makes a sound, but the minute the rest left him alone around a corner there was no doubt he was a he.
