Dr. Mythe looked at her curiously. "Yes? What is it? Any more complaints?" He asked her. "I got the third floor taken care of, thankfully. I thought I was going to have to kill someone." He said in a completely joking tone, so it really couldn't be taken seriously.
Janette leaned against the desk, seeing that he wasn't going to offer a chair or anything. "No, no complaints. Well, not really. I just came because I think it high time you and I discussed a few things." She looked him in the eye to make sure he was paying attention. "Firstly, I'd like to have Emily Moore placed under my care. I think I could do a little better than Nurse Lidia is doing."

"You can sit down, you know." Dr. Mythe said, gesturing to the chair right in front of his desk.

"I actually fired Lidia a few minutes ago, she just left. So, Emily Moore can very well be placed under your care." Dr. Mythe told her simply. "So, what else?"

Janette ignored the offer. Standing up she could pace or get out fast should there be an emergency.
"You fired her? Good," Janette nodded her head, pleased with this new arrangement. "So, the food. The food in the cafeteria that everyone eats--staff, patients and you alike--- is absolutely horrid! I know I'm not the only one who hates it," she shot a knowing look at Thomas. "Why is it bad? Because it's the cheapest thing you can get in here? Or we're out of supplies for anything better?" She questioned.

Nathan walked up to Emily's room and knocked on the open door "Hello? I'm here to move the patient to a new room"
Emily barely heard the guard arrive over all the noise Don was making dumping the shattered remains of the mirror in a metal trash can. She looked over at the doorway where guard Nathan stood, surveying the disgusting state of her room. Emily rose from her bed with her possessions cradled in her arms, and walked to the door.

Nathan led her down the hallway to a set of stairs. At the bottom of the second flight of stairs, she heard people chatting with each other as they walked past the cafeteria. Emily looked in at the people sitting around tables talking and noticed a few that looked like they might be patients. They continued down the hall until they stopped at a door numbered 24. Nathan opened the door, flipped on the light, and walked inside.

Emily followed Nathan into the room and looked around in wonder. This room was larger than her old room, better furnished, and spotless. She walked to the bed, dropped her possessions on it, and sat, checking out her new surroundings. There was a soft comfy bed with a brass headboard in one corner, a nightstand with a small white lamp on it, a dresser next to the door, and a desk with a chair. An unopened door to the left of the bed proved to be a bathroom when Nathan opened the door and flipped on the light.

Nathan asked if her room was ok and told her she would be in Nurse Janette's care now, then he left the room, closing the door behind him. Emily listened for the lock to click, but it didn't. She tentatively went over to the door and grasped the shiny round knob. She gave it a slight turn. When she encountered no resistance she turned it further. The mechanism disengaged and the door opened. "Did he forget to lock me in?" Emily wondered. "Maybe Janette doesn't lock in her patients like that horrible nurse Lidia did. I haven't seen Lidia for a while, I wonder if she was assigned to someone else."

Emily closed the door softly and began to put away her belongings in the dresser.

(Yes, Lidia was fired. Muahaha....XD)

"Well, it is cheaper and it's not horrid. Though I do admit that we probably need someone else making the food." Dr. Mythe said. He was never raised eating good food, or much at all, so he never minded it.
"But we just restocked our supplies again, so it's not like we're out of decent food."

"If money would solve the food problem, then I'll be glad to give a little more," Janette stated. She then remembered another reason for her coming. "I have been hearing some strange things," she said hesitantly.

"No, you don't need to donate anything else. I just need to hire better staff. Which I will be able to do very quickly." Dr. Mythe told her simply. He then looked at her curiously, "Strange things? Like what?" He asked.

"Well, screaming for one thing. And not just Mr. Tucker screaming in my ear. Screams from outside. Also, a few patients have said they've seen things outside." Janette replied

Dr. Mythe sighed. He didn't know if he really wanted Janette to know the truth yet, because really the only reason she supported all of this was to help people. And turning them into a humanoid wasn't exactly helping. So he decided to create a believable lie instead, for now.

"Teenagers sometimes tend to climb over the fence to try and scare the residents, very typical of them. I need to upgrade the fence, it's easy to climb over, but for now I'm focusing on the inside of the place." He told her seriously.
"Wish they could just learn decent manners and not try to climb over, but you can't control people, I suppose."
