turkeys not laying

my turkeys have stopped laying i dont know for sure if they are molting, they last layed their eggs around june or july?

Turkeys are seasonal layers. They do not lay all year long like a chicken. Unlike most chickens egg laying is not molt related but normally is dependent on the length of daylight hours.

My turkey hens start laying in late March and if not interrupted by hatching a clutch, have laid as late as October. This year they stopped in July because I allowed them to go broody. I do not expect any more eggs from them until next March.

aw thank you very much i did let them go broody with their eggs also but unfortunately they were not fertile so after about 15 days they got off and broke the eggs they are 1 year old know so maybe they will try again..any hints on a good laying box for them one insisted on laying her eggs in the pasture in the tall grass

This is the simplest nest area available. The preferred nesting spot for mine has been a pallet leaned against a wall.

Good luck.
