Guinea keets - best thing to do?

A momma guinea brought her keets up this morning. We tried to catch them but they hid in the brush. Well bring them in the coop tonight? Should I until then to try to catch then or should I try again before dark? Any advice will be helpful. Thanks.
 
I'm sorry no one has answered your question. My guineas are five months old now so I have no experience with a mother and keets. I always feel better when their in the coop. Maybe putting food and water in the coop door and turning a light on might bring her to the coop. If anyone else has any suggestions please feel free to help.

I would wait until tonight. The mother will be calmer at night so you can sneak in the coop and take the keets. I apologize no one got back to you earlier.
 
Update: I did not catch them. They continue to make it to the brush every time I try. She is also not bringing them in the coop at night. So currently they are truly wild. So far she continues to take good care of them and had not lost any yet. I appreciate the responses. I'll update if anything changes.
 
I'm glad to hear they are still safe. I think everyone gave good advice, to do what you can to keep encouraging them into the coop. They will be safer there, but it's easier said than done. Good luck!
 
Good question, I will keep an eye out here. My hen hatched 16 keets a week ago. I have 9 adult birds also. I need to get SOME of those keets off of her and rehomed, so I was wondering if any had any advice on the best age to do that, and any tips on HOW to do it without getting the crap beat out of me...lol
She is doing a wonderful job so far, but I can't see keeping them ALL!
 
I think herding momma and babies slowly into the coop near evening might at least get them in a safe spot. The bigger they get- the harder it will be to get them in! If possible, you can set wire in a wide "V" to the coop door so they do not get sidelined, the herd them in the wide mouth and down the chute- just use very tight wire!
