10% Flubendazole water soluble power dosage

Below is a pic of it.
Yes, I have a super-accurate reloading scale I use to measure active ingredients when making other drug mixtures.

45 hens 9mos-1.5 years old. Black Sexlinks and Isa Browns. That weight sounds just about right.
Probably okay to average their weight out to 5-6 pounds, so that's 225 to 270 pounds. Gonna read those links that ivan3 sent and see if I understand the mg/kg dose.

Just a couple of items: Need to consider the water delivery method (troughs/nipples/bowls) and, more importantly, how much water is being consumed, daily, by these 45 hens - put out x amount in AM and - by volume/wt. - how much is missing 4 hrs later (med linked to mentions that med should be mixed into amount of water consumed over 4 hr. period - med tends to precipitate out over longer periods of time, though can simply be "shaken up" again/flushed out of nipple waterer/etc). Hens tend to drink the most in AM so withholding evenings before dosing might be useful. Five pound laying hens tend to consume between 5-8 ounces of water a day (why a week of measuring intake and averaging, prior to medicating, is most accurate & will also result in minimal wastage of med).

I have the same stuff and I use it twice a year. I haven't found it to be very water soluble. I apply mine to their feed instead. The ratio I use is .3 grams of 10% flubendiazoole to 2.2 pounds of feed for 7 days.
