okay. I know it sounds odd but my hens adore low fat no salt added cottage cheese. just a spoonful will make them crazy. i feed them cottage cheese because they weren't eating as much as normal and their eggs were getting a bit flimsy. so what better solution than good ol cottage cheese/ i have this book called raising backyard chickens and saw the author's chickens also loved cottage cheese. Do your hens like cottage cheese?
