The birds seem to be more perky today. Makes me glad.
I ordered some horizontal water nipples and a couple feeders today. I can install the nipples in barrels or buckets, lasts longer and stays cleaner than regular waterers.

I get a discount from the fuel oil people (use < 200 gallons a year) because they charge the CC. Propane company? NO discounts no matter what and they want their money in 2 weeks.
They are only in season a short time so I don't think there is a "too many" quantity!

I am trying to put a dinner together and I have to rest in between each thing. Gonna starve at this rate. Corn shucked, cantaloupe sliced and diced still have salad and bacon yet to do and IDK what else if anything. Seems weird to not be saving the scraps

bacon/tomato sandwich, corn cut off the cob, big salad w/ homegrown maters and cukes. and now its desert time. Cantaloupe ! All good excuses for salt.
School started today. Gd is riding the bus & I didn't know what time it would come so I sat on the porch sweating for 30+ minutes. She was wet with sweat also. Why do they start so early?
Fix my Sammy, I'll be there in 10 minutes.
Thought about incubating eggs, but I think I'm gonna order from ideal poultry next month. Rir, Delaware, Easter eggers I think
