I sure hope that text was REALLY important. I personally can't think of a reason to text someone at that time of night.
A chicken that lays button batteries??look what one of my coworkers found me for Christmas
We had one like that. I'm guessing older than 70's because I don't remember it NOT being on the tree. Mom and Dad got divorced in '67 and it was certainly on the tree before then.

At one time it was. It just brought back painful memorys of her telling me I wasnt what she wanted in a friend.
So both the young silkies I bought hoping to get hens, turned out to be roosters. They were getting along fine until I took them out of the coop they were in,. Then they pecked each other bloody.

Dishes all caught up and floor swept. That my limit .

Dont sound right for silkies. Arent they normally gentle ?
I vacuumed the rug in the great room today. Fed and watered, that took a couple of tries. Had to stop and take some breaks.
