Granny's gone and done it again

Mornings, Beautiful color on that chick Danna, love the wings. looks like a girl to me.
Today is starting out like any other. I was changing Toms battery and filter on his hearing aid before coffee and went to put it in his ear and the ear cup came off. LOL I had to get the tweezers and get it out. Pup came in all wet and wanted to come right at me. Cold wet pup is good to get your heart pumping .

I started to bed last night and checked the bator. I do a hundred times a day. It was 98.4

After my little panic I realized I was cold too. It was 64 in here. So I turned the air off and put the heat on. LOL Poor Tom. He is always freezing.

Can you tell if this is a girl. She is from the EECCL.
Very pretty! I vote girl too. Watch the center ridge of the pea comb... if it starts getting very bumpy and thick or getting smaller rows of bumps on either side, then I might have to change my vote to boy. Lot of times you can tell by the comb at 4-5 weeks.

Haha! I let the window partly open in the chicks' room last night and it was pretty cold (40s). They still have their heating pad mama and are mostly feathered now so don't think it was too bad for them. Thinking about putting them outside for awhile today... upper 70s expected.

I am going to have a mess to deal with If I can't put the CCL chicks in with these guys tomorrow. They are pretty wild. I wish I had my garage cage set up, but the table I use for that is full of all the junk I took out of the junk room. I have gotten rid of a few things, but the mountain of stuff is still there. They will just have to squeeze into the small cage. It will be cozy, right?
