Good idea. I am going to use mostly broodies in the future. I may incubate a few to slip under the hen, but letting them raise them in the flock is much easier.Haven't tried genderizing (how's that for a $5 word?) them.
Never had a tractor, but I liked the idea; figured I'd give it a shot. Besides, it's the only place the adults can't terrorize them.
Here's to lots of progress on the tractor, and a great day.Daylight's a'burnin'; BBL

When I first moved to New Jersey, we lived in a Jewish area. Instead of getting off school for Christmas, we got off for every Jewish holiday. My parents are ministers. All five of us older children were singing "Dreidel dreidel dreidel!" and thought we were Jewish. We also thought that we weren't white, but that is another story.TO ALL THE FREINDS IN FAR AWAY COUNTRIES

My mailman brings me all kinds of junk to the door but this he decides to leave inside a black Mail box in 80 degree sunshine.....It was actually hot to touch.. I am guessing he thought the inside of the box was not a warm place.
I am guessing it is worthless now, I shall be visiting the Post Office tomorrow.

Don't know if they are laying yet. One of my mutts that is in with them is the only one I've seen on the nest and she's laying a light brown egg. Has been for two weeks. Maybe the selection I've been doing is paying off. 4&1/2 months to pol is really good for mine.So what are their eggs like? How many do they lay?
