Exactly, I don't have smartphone and I don't have Internet in my phone, but if I search somthing in my tablet or even TALK near it I find "suitable " advertising in it in a short time.
My concern is that they will put their servers in space, or on the moon and when they do it they will be REALY out of controling. Your federal government could declare that they are a Monopoly and divide them to Competing units, I am still waiting.

I have a user name on Walmart.com. I use it to save items I'm debating on. A few months ago, it had a list of everything I had purchased at the Walmart store a few days before. I don't have a Walmart credit card. I asked the manager at the local store, and was told that it was an automatic thing. The chip reader on the credit card machine reads my name and location. The website used that information to match it to me.
The new phones are trying to make it so that advertisers can't hunt you down so easily. The advertisers are already suing over one such program.

Duckling keeps hitting me with them! She's broken a few fingers off too. Now I keep them in my desk.

Most of the time if they have dry places to be with a bit of monitoring, good feed, free choice mineral and baking soda they do well. The biggest issues are watching for the common worms (Barberpol and tape) by watching eyelids, and coccidia when it is wet. The babies I brought in from elsewhere and that is always a risk as bottle kids are so fragile. Freak accidents are just that, and anaplasmosis is just rare so since I am new to goats (3yrs) I didn't know that it existed and can mimic coccidia until it was too late. The vaccines like CDT CL are cheap and once a year. The vast majority of my goats have only ever had vaccines and wormer which I only give when they show symptoms to avoid the growing resistance. The peak is Memorial to Labor Day.
They entirely eliminated the need for a brush hog on my place this year (year two with access). I used to need it two or three times a year. The blackberry briars are 98% gone, the buck brush is gone and most weeds. I have some rag weed, but much less than before much to my relief. They are not that bad and some breeds particularly cross breeds are quite hardy. I would not trade the for fear of just having to keep an eye on a few things. A few basic meds on hand and you are good to go with most situations.

I would love your opinions. Our local once a month goat sale split in August. It is said that one of them took three big buyers, but that is rumor right now. This month the two guys are each running a sale on Thursday. Would you take a your last three bucklings to one of the sales or feed them another month which in the small pen requires hay and grain every day?

Those near-magical "Ask Google" things don't have me resting easy either. Never used one but the idea seems creepy.

Congratulations I am glad you are making progress. But how everybody is talking about building I got the runners and the 10 up on my 14 by 18 extension on my barn Saturday it was a good day's work. IMG_20170930_174138653_HDR.jpg
Then Sunday I said it's too beautiful I'm just going to go for a ride. It was a beautiful fall day and I really needed it.
