Hi
I'm new to call ducks and bird genetics.
Genetics I find hard to fathom regardless of animal species.
Any help would be appreciated
I have included a picture of my current clan

Glad you joined us at Backyard chickens. I would say Minihorse really knows ducks. You can also put "Duck thread," in the search box and post questions there. Good luck with your ducks, your current ones are beautiful.
 
There are quite a few call duck threads. The cute and cuddly call duck thread, ravynfallens duckumentary, and call ducks finslly hatched are all fairly active. Welcome and have fun!

I have 2 butterscotch
1 chocolate silver
And 2 blacks although the white on the drake is confusing me? I've heard bibbed but not sure.

are you calling the one on the far left chocolate silver? That is a snowy not a chocolate silver

Of the duck closest to the camera.
He was sold to me as a chocolate silver
I brought him from the secretary of the call duck club so not a back yard breeder
If he is not chocolate silver that's ok but I was looking for a mate for him so would rather get same colour so chocolate silver to chocolate silver or snowy to snowy
Don't want an argument sorry
