Hello everyone. I love this site. So we just purchased a 10 acre farm. Well it's all acreage now. We will be fencing g and cross fencing g property for horses, goats, chickens, and maybe cows.

We are having the hardest time choosing a name. We are also starting a horse rescue. But it all starts with a name. I tried looking for farm names and just can't find one.
So a bit about us. Hubby is a welder has his own shop on our property, I own a credit repair company and we have 5 kids. Any help with a name is much appreciated.
We live in East Tennessee. Yes near the great smoky mountains.

Congratulations on your new home...10 acres sounds wonderful!

You might get some ideas for a name based on what sort of features your property has...trees, rocks, creek or pond, etc. Or maybe some play on your names?

Check in with other members in your state, they might be a source of something you like. You can find your state thread by using the search box (upper left) and type in Tennessee state thread.

Good luck with all your plans and thanks for joining us!

Hello there, and welcome to Backyard chickens! Glad you could join us! How about Smokey Mtn farm? I am really bad at naming things, maybe someone else has some slightly more original names. Check out your state thread, and ask people from your areas, they know more about the your area might be able to come up with names characteristic to your area. I hope you enjoy BYC as much as I have!

Glad to have you as part of our community! I am also in East TN!
We have around 20-24 acres with 28 chickens, 2 dogs, and 6 cats. If you need a name for your farm just look in the Tennessee State thread for ideas. And @CuzChickens gave you a good name as well. Have a great time on here and best wishes!
