Is this Silkie a Rooster or Hen ?

Ok, this one is 4 months old now and I'm hoping someone can help!
Single comb, which is making it a little harder to tell because I can't look for the big walnut like typical silkies. Not crowing, but does "spar" with my bantam cochin who is same age and crowing.

Hi, welcome to BYC! :frow

That is a gorgeous baby. :love

Way too you to tell gender. Feathering is practically irrelevant at that age as they still have a lot of coming in to do.

However, I'm gonna go out on a limb and say cockerel. That looks like a pretty wide comb at the base of the crest. Plus standing real nice and tall. Those are not always accurate though.

Hope you will post again closer to 10 weeks. :pop
