Hi everyone!
I'm looking for everyone's opinion on the gender for the lemon orpington, the red barred rock and the blue-ish Orpington pictured here. Any insight would be greatly appreciated!

Different comb types. A pea comb looks like a row or rows of little bumbs. A single comb is a row of spikes or points. The pea comb is dominant over the single comb, genetically. There are different traits that define each breed. Orpingtons are a single combed breed. You describe a dark chick with a pea comb as an Orpington. But that pea comb disqualifies the label of Orpington. He's a mixed breed.Yah, I didn't feel like typing "something you could describe as a red barred rock". What do you mean by pea comb vs single comb?
AgreedNo such thing as a Red Barred Rock. And Orpingtons have single combs, not pea combs.
All cockerels except for the black Ameraucana.
