I am just getting started with incubation and i went and got a little giant brand new(already had to replace the heating element and thermostat) lost the first set of eggs. set another round of eggs and waited for the parts to fix it they are in lockdown now 35/50 made it to lockdown and 7 of the once threw out where clear infertile eggs. I have now had 7 hatch and 3 pip but hatch day was last night and they did not start hatching until this morning. So I went a week ago and picked up quail eggs and duck eggs plus two more used little giants and one unbranded ebay bator with a yellow lid and clear sides all together i can set 193 eggs as one does not have a turner and so i can put more in it. I have set the quail which is what this started with and set the ducks but they where infertile and had to trade them out for more the lady cracked all of them and only 2 had started but where not developing at the right speed and the air sack looked funny. so i have taken the little giant with no turner into my hatcher and am trying to have a good out come to increase my flock this year. I currently only have 8 hens and 2 roosters. Plus add quail and ducks to the mix.

The clear one with the yellow lid, tends to not be insulated very well. So it does better if you tape foam or something to the outside.
