It could just be me but today Tuesday, December 27 2016 at around 09:00AM Eastern Standard Time, Australia, the following is occurring.
In the past, when posting on a thread, it is automatically added to my ‘Subscriptions’ view.
This is still happening for some posts but not others.
For example: I posted on the below thread and it did not appear in my Subscriptions list:

I have since Subscribed to it manually.
Another example which I have not altered [manually subscribed to]:
I posted on the Topic of the Week:

As you can see on the below, I have a ‘last post’ showing in the 'New Posts' view, however it is not showing up on my Subscriptions while other posts from today are:
If I open up the thread, it gives me the option to Subscribe which I believe should not be there because I am subscribed by my post:
Other threads on which I have posted today are automatically showing in my Subscribed so I do not believe it is a setting on my preferences and I have not made any recent changes to my preference settings [than I know of
].
I am using Google Chrome on Windows 10 Pro.

Edited to Add: I have logged out and back in again and the Topic of the Week on which I posted is still not showing in 'Subscribed'.
It does, however, show up in my recent activity:
